To achieve a part-time job or internship assisting my transition into the work force after college. I will strive to use my strong work ethic, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills to reach the company's goals as well as my own. I plan to use my organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities with a positive attitude, all the while proving to my employer that I am someone who is dependable and responsible.

Highly experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Excellent keyboarding skills.

Quickly learned procedures for preparing food in proficient and safe manner.
Improved communication skills through interaction with customers.
Monitored cash register and handled bank deposits.
Trained new employees for opening, middle, and closing shifts.

Watched over three children (ages 8, 8, and 4) every day from 2:00-7:00 Monday-Friday from April to Mid-June. Once the summer began hours changed to 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Duties included transportation to swimming lessons, cleaning, cooking, providing entertainment, and disciplinary action. Patience was key in understanding how to deal with smaller children, and I also learned the immense responsibility involved when caring for another life.

Volunteered multiple times at a soup kitchen in downtown Detroit.
Worked fairs at elementary schools, and also events at high schools in the Novi Community School District.
Was part of a clean-up project of the Rouge River.
Volunteered as a teen leader during Vacation Bible School at St. James's Church in Novi, MI.

Played basketball from 1998-2005 on school teams, church teams, and also organized summer league teams and was awarded a captain position in 2002 and 2003. Also played volleyball from 2002-2005 and was awarded a captain position in 2002.
Also a member of National Honor Society in 2005 and 2006, S.A.A.D. from 2003-2006, and Novi High School's Spanish Club from 2003-2006.
